You are so very welcome!
Deletethis is a fantastic collection Dan ... thank you so much ... !!!
ReplyDeleteOn the record,"Man Enough For You Baby," it has 2 credits for "Ronnie Dante"...By chance, could this be Ron Dante, who produced Barry Manilow, and who anonymously sang vocals on many cool 45's in the '70s??
ReplyDeleteYes, it could very well be the same Ron Dante. It's been rumored that this was a studio group, so who knows???
DeleteJust got a copy of the River Deep 45 at a flea market not long ago. I believe the A-side is done by the Knickerbockers under a pseudonym, but I'm guessing that the B-side is a studio concoction.
ReplyDeleteThank you for the whole collection - for each single volume

THANKS MAN!
ReplyDeleteIn Dan's Garage The Best of Vol 1 part7 is missing from mediafire. Does anyone have this?
ReplyDeleteSorry. The "Best Of" posts were just compilations of previously issued ones. I wan't planning on re-upping any of them as all the cuts are available on the regular issues. Sorry. :(
DeleteThe 'Virtue' label may have been Frank Virtue's label. Frank had a hit with "Guitar Boogie Shuffle" in 1959. He had his own recording studio and recorded/released a bunch of stuff by various people back in the day, mostly Country/Western from what I've seen. Link Wray recorded "Mustang" and "Deuces Wild" there in 1964.
ReplyDeleteAw, man! I stepped away for a while in order to move the family and get settled into a new city and I've missed shows 101 through 112. Most of those are showing as expired. Anyone hosting a mirror with these shows on it???
ReplyDeleteA full re-up of all the posts will be available as soon as I get things squared away on this end. There are so many dead links right now it would take me days (something I unfortunately don't have many of) to get them all up and running again. Patience my friend. Good things come to those who wait. ;)

Pourrait-tu poster une photo de la face B de Plasma "A Night Like This" please?
