Sorry friends, once again the powers that be have pulled this post, and I still don't know who's complaining about it. I can certainly speculate who it is, but guessing at something would be unfair. Hopefully you can all find this stuff elsewhere. Seek and you shall find....
It's nice to see the return of #XXI... It's a highlight in the Dan's Garage series.
ReplyDeleteThanks again, Dan, for all the great music you share. Enjoy a pleasant Easter Sunday!
While I love talking about music with like-minded folk, I've pretty much given up the whole "debate"thing. There is plenty of music I don't much care for (hip-hop, synth-pop) but who am I to say it's bad even if listening to it makes me cringe? Music fascism sucks, no matter from were it originates.
ReplyDeleteThanks for another terrific collection.
Hi Dan. Thanks - especially for the Merrie Motor Company. Would very much like to hear the flip side of "Season Of The Witch" and anything else that you may have by the group. Fun blog; thanks again!
ReplyDeleteWo-o-o-o-o-ow.....
ReplyDeleteAll links deleted...
May hope about copy on new server?
No Longer able to get file-what's up?!
ReplyDeleteWho's after you? Gone after only 3 days this time.
ReplyDeleteI can't say. I've done some research at www.chillingeffects.com ,but all the list as a "offending" file is the title "In Dan's Garage...#21" There is no artist or song listed. This is among another 100 or so blogs listed, with specific complaints attached. Here's an example...

This is how it's all listed. You can see mine in there, and compare it to the other blogs listed. It's quite baffling. This is the ONLY info I got on this. I just wish I knew......
Your blog is great, Dan. It's unbelievable that you're getting a hard time when you aren't even posting common stuff that would make any money. I can think of dozens of blogs that post new CD comps and other items that one would think the "powers" would go after first.
ReplyDeleteThanks for all the great work!
Hi Dan,
ReplyDeleteCan you please just publish the covers and the tracklist here?
Maybe we can find some tracks on our own?
Keep up the splendid work you're doing!
hansa123
Like I said in the post, "seek and you shall find". It's all right in front of you, if you look hard enough......
ReplyDeleteThank You Dan!
ReplyDeleteYour hope is right!
Find... (Good cover!)
Best wishes!
Hi,
ReplyDeletemany thanks for all the great music that I have been able to download from your site - but I guess I am simply not clever enough to find that ominous link for Vol. 21. I have tried to click on that platter, tried many different things - but I guess I need your advice..
Tumbleweed
Many many thanks for these compilations - they preserve the music of my teenage years!!!!!
Tumbleweed,
ReplyDeletejust look to the far right hand side of the page and you will "uncover" the post. I "hope" you find it!
hi dan at first i wanna thamk you for the hard work you've done and after i wanna say that I'm not able at all to find the vol 21 wwhat i have to do ? thank you again and just continue and bever stop greetings from palermo sicily
ReplyDeleteGot it! Those rotten censors are #1 in my book too, Dan...Thank you so much for all your time, effort and info you have devoted to this endeavor!
ReplyDeleteIs it somehow hidden in the list of links or is it somewhere on this page? Im feeling so dumb right now
ReplyDeleteNo. There is no list. If there's a password associated with a file, it it simply the name of the link. For example: if the link is "The Bears", simply type in the words as you see them (without quotation marks of course". Trust me. It'll work.
DeleteHi Dan, do you still have the graphic for this volume? (or is it lost in the mists of time?). I'm a completist and would like to add it to the archive.
ReplyDeleteThanks for a load of great music I wouldn't have otherwise known about.
cheers!
GP
Sure, you can find a link for the download here...https://theegarage.blogspot.com/2019/03/re-ups.htm
